2026 students for success backpack drive

With the increasing costs of school supplies, parents are grappling with the burden of ensuring their children have the necessary tools for a successful academic year. According to recent statistics, a staggering 37% of families are unable to provide their children with the essential back-to-school items they need. The financial strain can put children at a disadvantage before they even step foot in the classroom. 

Aiden Payne approached our organization to create a student lead innovative to help find a solution to help these families.. Our Student for Success Backpack Drive would provide families in need with not only backpacks, but also a complete set of school supplies. Each student can fill their bags with the essential items that they need to have a successful school year.

Through this remarkable initiative, Students for Success succeeded in providing 115 families with the essential school supplies that they needed to kick start the school year. The estimated value of each backpack filled with school supplies was around $120. This translates to an astounding $13,800 worth of supplies distributed to families in need. This demonstrates the tangible impact of community-driven efforts!
