Build-A Backpack Drive

According to recent statistics, a staggering 37% of families are unable to provide their children with the essential back-to-school items they need. The financial strain can put children at a disadvantage before they even step foot in the classroom. 

The I am Worth it Foundation approached this issue with a holistic solution. Our Build-A Backpack Drive would provide families in need with not only backpacks, but also a complete set of school supplies. Each student can fill their bags with the essential items that they need to have a successful school year.

Through this remarkable initiative, the I am Worth it Foundation succeeded in providing 42 families with the essential school supplies that they needed to kick start the school year. The estimated value of each backpack filled with school supplies was around $120. This translates to an astounding $5,040 worth of supplies distributed to families in need. This demonstrates the tangible impact of community-driven efforts!
